Barbara Mackenzie-Wood has been a member of the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama faculty since 1986 and for the past twelve years she headed up the Acting/Music Theater Option.
Don’t miss this master class opportunity to work with a distinguished faculty member of Carnegie Mellon University.
Students should come prepared with the monologue(s) they are working on for their college auditions. Each student will have one-on-one time with Ms. Mackenzie-Woods to work on their monologue in front of the class.
The workshop, which is limited to only 15 high school seniors, will meet at The College Audition studio in Maitland (Orlando), FL. Students will work with the master class clinician from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM, with a catered lunch provided at the studio. Once you register, you will receive a list of area hotels.
Because of the intimate nature of the studio, we will not be able to accommodate parent auditors during the workshop, though the studio is located just a minute away from Maitland’s exciting new downtown entertainment complex, and Winter Park’s Park Avenue district. Both areas offer exciting shopping and dining possibilities.
PLEASE NOTE: Participation in this master class does not give you an advantage or special consideration when applying to CMU or any university or program.
